The league have now released both adult and junior fixtures for the 2009 season. The full fixture lists can be obtained from the leagues website, www.southportcricket.co.uk.

The Liverpool Competition have given Southport Trinity III seven home games in a row, and as they ground share with Portland Wine in Division 2 this has caused issues throughout the league.

As a result, Tarleton's 1st team plays away for 8 of its first 9 matches (accordingly, the 2nds will play 8 of their first 9 at home).

The season starts on the April 18th with the firsts visiting New Victoria and the seconds hosting Dalton II. The third team will face New Victoria's 2nd team on the back pitch.

The Under 15s will play visit Mawdesley in the first junior game of the season on April 22nd. The Under 13s follow the first team by visiting New Victoria for their first game on the 23rd and on Monday 27th, Tarleton will see the return of the Under 18's team as they host Dalton. The following night, the Under 11s will play their first game at home to Rainford.

That we are in a position to field three senior and four junior teams this year demonstrates the fantastic off-field commitment of many club members and we are very thankful for all your efforts.
